専門分野

TESOL/TEFL（第二言語としての英語教育／外国語としての英語教育）は私の専門分野です。私の目標は、日本人英語学習者がスピーキング、リーディング、ライティング、リスニングの能力を向上させるための必要なスキルを身につけることを支援することです。重要なのは、これらのスキルを完璧にすることではなく、英語を使って自分の考えを伝え、日常生活の中で適切に対応できるようになることです。スキルの向上には、継続的な練習と間違いからのフィードバックを取り入れることが欠かせません。現在の英語レベルを気にする必要はありません。一緒に英語を話す練習をしましょう！

    Hello, incoming university students,
    University is the final stage of your school life, where you have the freedom to try new things—
    joining clubs, making new friends, and expanding your horizons. ECA (English Communication Arts) is part of the Department of Basic and Comprehensive Education (基礎総合教育部), where you will take various English courses to improve both your linguistic and cultural competence.
    These skills will help you navigate an increasingly globalized world with confidence. I hope you embrace this challenge as you move forward in your university journey.

    自己紹介

    Hello everyone, Please call me Mr. Martin, and don’t hesitate to say "hi!" when you see me on campus. When I’m not teaching during summer or winter vacation, I enjoy skiing in Nagano, and my favorite ski resorts are Nozawa Onsen, Hakuba, and Shiga Kogen. Just like you, as you take ECA courses at Seigakuin, I also take Japanese lessons in my spare time to improve my fluency. I enjoy watching Japanese anime like Kimetsu no Yaiba and Japanese TV shows to improve my listening skills. I’d love to hear about your hobbies, too!

    大学の業務以外では、視覚障がいのある学生に英語を教えるなどの社会貢献活動に取り組んでいます。また、日本語教育学会（JALT）のStudy Abroad SIGのメンバーとして活動しており、会員担当（Membership Chair）として、留学に関する研究に関心のある会員のサポートをしています
